Senator Kelly Statement on Agreement to Lower Prescription Drug Prices

Today, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly issued the following statement on the agreement to include measures to lower prescription drug costs in the budget reconciliation bill:

“Lowering the cost of prescription drugs has been one of my top priorities in the Senate, and I’ve been working on it over the past week with my colleagues in the Senate, House, and the White House. We’ve now reached an agreement that will drive down prescription drug prices, lower out-of-pocket costs for seniors, and prevent price gouging. This will be a big win for Arizona seniors and I’ll keep working to get it over the finish line.”
