Kelly Statement on Colorado River Operations Proposal

Arizona Senator Mark Kelly issued the following statement after representatives from Arizona, California, and Nevada released the Colorado River Lower Basin state’s initial proposal for the river’s long-term operations:  

“The impacts of climate change on the Colorado River System will only grow in the years ahead, which is why the future of the river depends on everyone coming together to do their part and find solutions. This proposal from the Lower Basin states is an important step in the process to protect the river we all rely on.”
