Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona calls Homeland Security on Yuma, border problems

Sen. Mark Kelly said the White House is aware of his unease over border issues – he put in a call to the Department of Homeland Security after a visit to Yuma, where the mayor declared a local emergency after thousands of migrants crossed into the city. “This is overwhelming Border Patrol,” Kelly said Wednesday on KTAR News 92.3 FM’s Arizona’s Morning News. “This is not acceptable, we need more staffing, we need help,” Kelly said he told Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas last week.
